In 1964 the Corvette Convertible continued its winning ways with victories at the Sebring race at the Nassau race. While speed is important to the Corvette manufacturers, so is safety. The split rear window seen in Corvettes from the previous year was discontinued due to concerns about driving safety. The 1964 Corvette Convertible also eliminated the stylish but ultimately useless hood vents that had been used on the 1963 model.

For the 1964 the Corvette Convertible, the lack of these distinctive design features has not affected the appeal of this classic car. The Corvette soft top has certainly not been soft when it comes to sales. This old convertible consistently sells for respectable prices if the Corvette in question is in mint or gently used condition.
